1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Harmonist's services ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

Harmonist provides an AI-powered document assistant platform that helps businesses provide customer support through analysis of their documentation. Our Service includes document processing, natural language understanding, and automated response generation capabilities.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction
  • Provide accurate, current, and complete account information
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breaches
  • Comply with all applicable data protection regulations

4. User Content and Data Processing

You retain all rights to content you upload to the Service. By using our Service, you:

  • Grant Harmonist a license to use, store, and process the content solely for providing and improving the Service
  • Warrant that you have the right to share such content and that it doesn't violate any third-party rights
  • Understand that we process data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws
  • Acknowledge that you are responsible for backing up your content
  • Acknowledge we process personal data in compliance with GDPR and provide data subject rights access through account settings

5. Data Protection and Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk, including:

  • Encryption of data at rest and in transit
  • Regular security assessments and audits
  • Access controls and authentication measures
  • Regular backup and recovery procedures
  • Incident response and notification procedures

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to violate any laws
  • Upload malicious code or content that may harm the Service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Collect or harvest any information from the Service
  • Copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without authorization
  • Use Service outputs to train competing AI models or reverse-engineer our algorithms

7. Payment Terms and Subscription

For paid services:

  • Free trial periods last 14 days and require a valid payment method
  • Trials convert to paid subscriptions automatically unless canceled 48 hours before trial end
  • Full refunds available within 14 days of payment for unused services
  • Partial refunds may be issued at our discretion for exceptional circumstances
  • Services are billed in advance on a subscription basis
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice
  • You are responsible for all applicable taxes and regulatory fees

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service:

  • For violations of these Terms
  • For extended periods of inactivity
  • To comply with legal requirements
  • For non-payment of fees

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies - verify critical information independently
  • The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amounts paid by you for the Service

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Tallinn, Estonia, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
